New commanders have been appointed to relevant military units in Armenia, APA reports citing local media.
The decision was signed by President Vahagn Khachaturyan based on a proposal from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Under the document, Colonel Levon Davidyan has been appointed commander of the Special Forces.
Other appointments include Major General Aleksandr Tsakanyan as first deputy chief of the General Staff’s Main Operations Directorate, Colonel Simon Nazaryan as commander of the 3rd Army Corps, and Colonel Gagik Poghosyan as commander of the 5th Army Corps.
Additionally, Major General Albert Bagdadyan has been appointed to lead the National Research University under the Ministry of Defense.
