Ilham Aliyev is leading in the presidential election in Azerbaijan with 92.05 percent of the votes after the processing of 93.35 percent of the ballots, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at a briefing, APA reports.
Mazahir Panahov noted that according to the preliminary results, the candidates received the following votes:
- Ilham Aliyev - 92.05 percent (4,281,625 votes);
- Zahid Oruj - 2.19 percent;
- Fazil Mustafa - 2 percent;
- Gudrat Hasanguliyev - 1.76 percent;
- Razi Nurullayev - 0.8 percent;
- Elshad Musayev - 0.67 percent;
- Fuad Aliyev - 0.53 percent;
Thus, according to the preliminary results, Ilham Aliyev won by collecting 92.05% of valid votes.
