Wizz Air flight delayed by more than 17 hours in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Flight 5W7160 of Wizz Air (Tashkent — Abu Dhabi), scheduled to depart at 12:05 local time, has been delayed at the departure airport due to technical reasons. The current delay is approximately 10 hours, according to Uzbekistan Airports press service.
As Wizz Air is a foreign airline, coordinating organizational matters has taken some time. Currently, 105 passengers on this flight, including both foreign nationals and Uzbekistan citizens arriving from other regions, have been provided with accommodation at hotels and transfers from the airport to their temporary lodging.
The flight from Tashkent to Abu Dhabi is now expected to depart on July 31 at 04:00.
