Armenia parliament head: Conspiratorial war’s organizers, instigators are known to everyone

Those accusations are no longer appropriate because everyone knows everything very well, there is nothing new to say. I said from the rostrum that Armenia's current authorities, who received power from the people, have done more for Artsakh than any other authorities. Alen Simonyan, speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, stated this while speaking with reporters in the NA Monday—and referring to his statement that the Armenia-Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) interparliamentary commission should be dissolved because there is no longer a Nagorno-Karabakh official.
"After that, a conspiratorial war took place, and the organizers, instigators of that war are known to everyone. Accusing [Armenia's] authorities that they fought for Artsakh to the end, fought a war to the end and did everything, is not appropriate, at least after the 2021 [parliamentary] elections, when Armenia's citizens went and gave their answer to those questions by voting in favor of the CC [i.e. the ruling civil contract party]. Those accusations are empty," Simonyan added.
And to the question as to whether Artsakh no longer exists for Armenia's authorities, the NA speaker responded as follows: "From the legal point of view, there is no 'Nagorno-Karabakh' unit [anymore]. There are our [Armenian] compatriots displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, whose security and all other issues are dealt with by Armenia’s government in an excellent way."
