The Front for the Support to New Caledonian Political Prisoners has issued a statement, APA reports.
The statement reads:
“As part of the ongoing solidarity actions to support activists imprisoned in the French colony and in response to the series of hearings that began at the Lyon Court on September 20, 2024, the Front for the Support to New Caledonian Political Prisoners expresses its gratitude to the brothers and sisters who have shown solidarity in various cities across France, Catalonia, the Pacific region, and the Antilles.
Our collective highly appreciates the significant efforts made by the 'Kanak Solidarity' collective and the Kanak movement in France over the past few months in raising awareness and organizing informational spaces.
We especially thank the Solidarita Association and EH Bai for their crucial support in establishing our work, and the Baku Initiative Group for their support to the families of political prisoners.”
