An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted central Peru at 19:39:36 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, APA reports.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 12.84 degrees south latitude and 75.13 degrees west longitude.
