Revenue for the 2025 budget is projected at 38.316 billion manats ($ 22.54 billion), which represents a 5.3% increase compared to the approved figure for 2024, AzVision.az reports.
Expenditures are forecasted at 41.367 billion manats ($ 24.33 billion), reflecting a growth of 4.1%.
The budget deficit is estimated at 3.051 billion manats ($ 1.79 billion), marking a 9% decrease compared to the 2024 budget deficit.
Note that, the snap elections for Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis took place on September 1, 2024.
The voting process occurred across 6,478 polling stations in 125 electoral districts nationwide.
A total of 990 candidates competed for 125 parliamentary seats. There were 6,421,960 registered voters.
