The foreign liabilities of the banking sector have increased by AZN 28.4 million compared to the beginning of the year, reaching AZN 2 billion 626.5 million as of November 1, APA-Economics reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the mentioned increase in foreign liabilities is mainly related to the rise in the volume of short-term deposits attracted from non-resident banks.
