Delegations from Russia and Kazakhstan signed 20 documents following talks between the leaders of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, APA reports citing TASS.
The heads of state approved a joint statement on deepening strategic partnership in the new global order.
They also adopted a program of interregional and cross-border cooperation for 2024-2028 and an action plan for its implementation, agreements on cooperation in healthcare, tourism and railroad development.
Approval was given to a memorandum on the regulation of non-profit organizations. Also, the list includes an agreement "on sharing code numbers of the 7th zone of the world numbering system."
A program of cooperation between the Justice Ministries of the two countries for 2025-2026 was approved. An agreement on cooperation between the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan was signed. A number of other documents were also adopted.
The leadership of Russia and Kazakhstan plans to maintain regular communication at the highest and high levels, according to a joint statement the presidents adopted after their talks.
