Another protest is taking place in front of the Parliament building in Georgia

Another protest action is being held in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, on Rustaveli Avenue, APA reports citing Georgian media.

Protesters have already blocked the road; that is, the central avenue of the city.

Protesters are pounding on the iron fences of the parliament to express their protest. Citizens across the country are protesting the Georgian government's decision to suspend Georgia's accession to the European Union until 2028.

Protest actions are planned in several places in the capital. In addition to Tbilisi, protests are also being held in Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Telavi.

According to information received, special police equipment, including water cannons, have been deployed near the opposition rally near the Georgian parliament in Tbilisi.

Protesters are reported to have thrown fireworks at law enforcement officers.
