Up to 1,500 students will be admitted to Karabakh University in the next academic year. New specialties will be created at the university, mainly in existing faculties. In addition, it is planned to open a medical faculty and a faculty of natural sciences, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev told journalists in Khankendi, APA reports.
The minister also said that preliminary work is underway on the construction of two new university buildings, and it is planned that students from Turkic-speaking countries and member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will study at Karabakh University starting next year.
