It should also be noted that the founder of the company is Igbal Mammadov, elected as a member of parliament from the 78th Lerik constituency. In a press statement in 2019, Iqbal Mammadov said that after being elected as a deputy in 2010, he entrusted the management of the enterprise to his brother. Asif Mammadov, brother of Igbal Mammadov, who for some time headed the Azerbaijani-Turkish joint venture “Kaspi Yıldız”, worked as the head of the executive power of the Balakan and Shamakhi regions in 2006-2013.
It should also be noted that Rafet Ekmekcioglu, one of the founders of the Azerbaijani-Turkish joint venture “Kaspi Yıldız”, who is a Turkish citizen, transferred his 50% stake to Igbal Mammadov in January last year. As a result, deputy Igbal Mammadov became the founder of the joint Azerbaijani-Turkish enterprise “Kaspi Yıldız” with a 100 percent share.
The company, founded by Igbal Mamedov, has long been discussed in the press due to the large amount of tax debt to the state budget. Currently, the Azerbaijani-Turkish joint venture “Kaspi Yıldız” has a tax debt to the state budget in the amount of 9 million 392 thousand 818 manats 93 kopecks.
