Why are the names of government agencies that are looking for workers with a salary of 3,500 manats hidden?
News and classifieds websites often advertise that people are being recruited to fill vacant positions in government agencies.
Yeniavaz.com reports that in most cases, such advertisements do not mention the name of the government agency seeking employees and promise high salaries.
For example, yesterday on one of the news sites information was posted under the heading “A government agency announces a vacancy for the position of assistant to the head of the public relations department.” For the position indicated in the information, a salary of 2000 manats was promised.
The advertisement did not mention which government department was seeking the employee. The advertisement contains only an email address as a means of communication. The email address "[email protected]" in the advertisement in question can be found in job advertisements posted on many websites.
Last year, an advertisement posted on one of the websites mentioned that a government agency was looking for employees for the positions of marketer and project manager, the monthly salary was 3000-3500 manat. As with other similar announcements, the email address “[email protected]” is indicated as the only means of communication in this announcement.
On one of the popular ad sites, along with the email address, the contact phone number “[email protected]” is posted. A man named Kamran Alekperov, whom we contacted at that phone number, said that he could not disclose the name of the government agency that was looking for employees.
Having learned that we received his contact number on advertising sites, K. Alekperov stated that he does not place his contact number in advertisements.
For reference, government institutions refer to institutions financed from the state budget. The wages of employees of state institutions are approved by relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers. Increasing the official salaries of these persons is within the powers of the President of Azerbaijan.
For example, the last time in January last year, President Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree “On increasing by 15% the wages of employees working in a number of organizations financed from the state budget.” The Cabinet of Ministers also determined the official salaries of persons working in government agencies based on the Presidential Decree.
The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers that we are talking about states that the President of ANAS receives the highest salary. The monthly salary of the President of ANAS is 3,547 manats. The salary of department heads is on average 2,000 manat, and the salary of specialists ranges from 1,000-2,000 manat.
Our attempt to find out from the owner of the ad (Kamran Alekperov) the name of the government agency offering 3,000 manats for a marketer on advertising platforms was unsuccessful.
