In January of this year, 495 million 119.82 thousand kWh of electricity was exported from Azerbaijan to foreign countries.
Yeniavaz.com
reports with reference to published official data, the customs value of electricity sold abroad amounted to 22 million 77 thousand dollars. As a result, the customs cost of 1 kW/h of electricity sold abroad amounted to 5.8 cents or 9.8 kopecks in terms of the current exchange rate ($1/1.7 manat).
This is cheaper than the price of electricity sold on the domestic market.
As you know, the price of electricity on the domestic market is 8 (up to 200 kW/h), 9 (for 200-300 kW/h) and 13 kopecks (more than 300 kW/h). This means that the average electricity tariff in the country is 10 kopecks.
