Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to information released by the United Nations (UN), in 2024 the average life expectancy in Azerbaijan will be 73.5 years.
As of January 1 of this year, the retirement age was 64.3 years (63.5 years for women, 65 years for men).
It should be noted that Turkey is considered to be the country with the longest expected pension payment period among the countries in the region. The average life expectancy in this country is 78.7 years, and the retirement age is 59 years (women 58 years, men 60 years).
