Today, in relation to the editor-in-chief of the “Abzas Media” website Sevinj Abbasova (Vagifgizi) and the director of the website Ulvi Hasanli, the submissions of the investigative body on choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention were considered.
Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to APA, at the trial in the Khatai District Court, a decision was made on the proposal of the investigative body.
According to the resolution, a preventive measure was chosen against Sevinj Abbasova in the form of detention for a period of 3 months and 29 days.
In relation to Ulvi Hasanli, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention for a period of 4 months.
It should be noted that a criminal case has been opened against the director of the “Abzas Media” website, Ulvi Hasanli, and the editor-in-chief, Sevinj Abbasova, under Article 206.3.2 (smuggling) of the Criminal Code.
