Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu visited Afghanistan and met with the Taliban's Minister of Internal Affairs Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Russian telegram channels reported citing Afghan media, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
Reported that Shoigu confirmed at the meeting that the Taliban will soon be removed from the list of terrorist organizations in Russia.
Noted that the draft law on the removal of the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations in Russia was submitted to the State Duma on November 26.
