In the first 10 months of last year, 40 million 985 thousand chicken eggs were exported from Azerbaijan to foreign countries.
Yeniavaz.com reports that information about this was included in the latest report published by the State Statistics Committee.
For information, the customs value of one egg exported from Azerbaijan was 7 cents (12 kopecks).
Note that the price of 1 chicken egg sold on the domestic market is 16 kopecks. From the disclosed information we can conclude that the price of eggs sold on the domestic market is approximately 33% higher than the price of eggs sold abroad.
