An emergency situation occurred Tuesday in Armenia's Kotayk region, shamshyan.com reports. At around 4:50pm, the Hrazdan city police department and the Kotayk provincial battalion of the Police Patrol Service of Armenia received information that an explosion had occurred in a foundry near Hrazdan and there were injured.
The explosion had occurred in the foundry operating on the territory of Hrazdan Thermal Power Station. Several ambulances arrived at the scene and transported six injured to Hrazdan Medical Center.
Those gathered at the scene said that the legs of two of the injured had been severed. Fire and rescue squads also arrived at the scene.
