Sharifov noted that in line with the president's relevant instructions, the state budget has allocated appropriate funds for increasing salaries, pensions, social benefits, and allowances, which form the basis of social expenditures for the next year.
"About 4.81 billion manats ($2.83 billion) will be allocated from the state budget next year for strengthening social protection and social security expenses of socially vulnerable groups of the population. This is 420 million manats ($247.06 million) or 9.6% more compared to the current year," he added.
