According to the State Statistics Committee, at the beginning of January of this year the population of Azerbaijan was 10 million 180 thousand 770 people.
If we divide the index of exports of non-oil products ($222 million 49 thousand) by the population (10 million 180.8 thousand people), it becomes clear that exports of non-oil products per capita in Azerbaijan amounted to $21.8.
Interestingly, the volume of exports per capita in neighboring Georgia and Armenia, which do not export oil and gas products to foreign countries, is many times higher than in Azerbaijan.
According to information released by the National Statistical Office of Georgia, in January of this year, products worth 338 million 616 thousand dollars were exported abroad. Considering that the population of Georgia is 3 million 736.4 thousand people, exports of non-oil products per capita in this country in January amounted to $90.6. As can be seen from the figures, exports of non-oil products per capita in Azerbaijan were 4.2 times less than in Georgia.
According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, 2 million 991 thousand people live in this country. In January of this year, exports of non-oil products in Armenia amounted to $934.1 million.
