Salary: 8,000-9,000 AZN (net)
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Director to lead the financial operations of company. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Group CFO and play a critical role in overseeing financial strategy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Management:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Group CFO based on financial analysis and forecasting.
Accounting and Compliance:
- Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Manage tax planning and ensure timely and accurate tax filings in adherence to Azerbaijan's tax regulations.
- Maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reports.
- Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
Operational Oversight:
- Monitor financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Work closely with other departments to optimize costs and support operational goals.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Provide training and mentorship to ensure continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- ACCA certification or equivalent is required.
Experience:
- At least 8+ years of professional experience in finance, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in production and/or F&B sectors is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles in Azerbaijan.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
