The number of women who committed crimes in Azerbaijan in 2022 was 1,227 people.
Yeniavaz.com reports that this is stated in the latest report of the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, during the year women committed the most crimes related to the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The number of women who committed this type of crime was 229 people.
In second place are crimes related to fraud. In just one year, 185 women committed fraud.
The lowest crime rate was recorded among women who committed robberies. During the year, only 2 women committed robberies.
According to a report published by the State Statistics Committee, the number of women who committed fraud and robbery changed sharply in 2019 and 2020.
Thus, the published report shows that in 2019, 8 women committed fraud, and in 2020 - 98.
Moreover, if in 2019 100 women committed robberies, then in 2020 only 2 women.
It is common knowledge that such a dramatic change in crime rates is impossible.
From the indicators in the table it is clearly visible that the number of women who committed fraud and robbery for the years 2000-2019 was erroneously recorded by the Committee.
