Which country is better for raising children? - Azerbaijan is in the last ten
The American media company U.S. News, based on current conditions, has prepared a rating table showing which countries are more favorable for raising children. Yeniavaz.com reports that according to information published on the company’s official website, the rating was prepared based on a survey of more than 17 thousand people and the following criteria were taken as a basis: - human rights situation; - family environment; - gender equality; - happiness index; - income coefficient; - safety; - educational opportunities; - state of health care.
It was noted that according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Sweden and Norway, which top the rating, are considered excellent countries for raising children. Each of these countries spends more than 1% of their gross domestic product on early childhood education and care. According to the ranking, the 5 best countries for raising children include: 1. Sweden 2. Norway 3. Finland 4. Denmark 5. Netherlands
Azerbaijan ranks 78th in the list of 87 countries. In the ranking table, Turkey ranked 50th, Ukraine - 57th, Russia - 62nd, Belarus - 69th. Armenia and Georgia were not included in the rating table countries.
